New Pictionary-Type Game is “Drawsome”

Posted on 08 February 2012 by Spitfire

I have to admit… it has been difficult to concentrate on work the past couple days. The reason being, this stupid little android game called “Draw Something.” The game, also available in the iTunes Store¬†(with cross platform gameplay possible), is played much like Pictionary where one person picks an object and then proceeds, clumsily, to draw the chosen object. Once finished the drawing is sent along to a friend or random opponent for them to try to decipher your drawing. You start off with a base set of colors and have to unlock more sets with coins earned in-game via correct guesses of words of varying difficulty.¬†There’s a lot of fun to be had in this game with the silly drawings, goofy guesses and and the satisfaction of nailing the complex drawing of a more difficult word. The game is fairly new so there are some bugs but so far it hasn’t affected the fun factor. Pick up the free version and try it out or if you don’t want to deal with the ads both stores have paid versions of the app.

Happy drawing!

I tried this app, obviously it was awesome. Everyone I’ve told about it loves it. It’s pretty badass.

Been playing this with my wife and we’re both addicted. Though they need to add more words without have to spend “coins” on them. I’ve drawn backpack 4 times already.
