Iran Follows Al-Qaida Kidnap Formula
So now Iran has taken the Al-Qaida formula. Kidnap people, parade them on television and use them as propaganda for a withdrawal from Iraq.

Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett has slammed Iran for releasing a new letter allegedly from a captive British sailor that calls for UK forces to withdraw from Iraq. She said: "We have not seen this letter but we have grave concerns about the circumstances in which it was prepared and issued. "This blatant attempt to use Leading Seaman Turney for propaganda purposes is outrageous and cruel." "It is cruel and callous to do this to someone in this position, and to play games like this is a disgrace," Downing Street added. |
Will beheadings be next?
**Update** Another letter.

Are these brits for real? This is a fuckin war buddy, we water board people all the time and the Iranis get their POWs to write letters? I would prefer the beheadings so we could take the kid gloves off and get to murdering each other. Don't you agree Ed?

That comment is to be expected form a politician.
Well we're not at war with Iran so they should have just left them alone right?. And I'm sure in addition to the letter writing they are interrogating the soldiers in creative ways.
I don't want to see anyone beheaded honestly. However, maybe it would be a good idea to parade KSM on tv and have him renounce jihad and the Koran.

Absolutely, we should get KSM in a pink tutu (harmless gag) and renounce Mohammed as the son of satan. If that doesnt get the Iranis to attack us first I dont know what will. Once they throw the first punch we could "Shock and Awe" them with impunity.
