Where Are All the Hurricanes?

Hurricane season isn't turning out to be the storm-fest many predicted. So much for the fire and brimstone.

Thursday, hurricane researcher William Gray at Colorado State University said the season won't be as bad as he had predicted. Gray and his forecast team reduced the number of expected hurricanes from nine to seven and said a monster storm like Katrina is unlikely.

The story also warns there is "plenty of time for devastating storms to develop".  There's hope yet!  I'm sure the media will figure out some other way of trying so scare you senseless.
